New Delhi: What is the first thing that pops our head, when we hear the name ‘Dhoni’, captain or leader are the two most undoubtedly obvious answers. Such is the charisma of the man that not only humans but even the animals tend to follow him as seen in his latest Instagram photo.

M.S Dhoni on Saturday uploaded a photo of him while enjoying his break at home after the Caribbean tour, with his dog. However the other key feature of this photo was his outfit.

The former Chennai Super Kings captain, Dhoni, created social media uproar as he uploaded a picture of himself in his famous No.7 CSK jersey on his official Instagram account, showing his love for CSK and their fans.

Dhoni donned the jersey which had ‘Thala’ written on its back, that means ‘boss’. The picture was liked by his fans on Instagram as they posted comments related to Dhoni’s comeback in Chennai Super Kings for the next edition of the Indian Premier League. The fans looked as excited as his dog in the picture.

All the CSK fans will hope for his return as captain in the side when Chennai makes a comeback after their two-year suspension from the IPL.

K George John, one of the directors of CSKCL (Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited) said in a press conference that MS Dhoni would be their first priority if they are allowed to retain the players. “If we are given an option of retaining a player, it will definitely be Dhoni,” he said.

“We haven’t yet discussed with Dhoni as his contract with Rising Pune Supergiant ends later this year. However, we will speak to him in the future,” he added.

Dhoni led CSK for consecutive eight seasons, and clinched two IPL titles in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Under his captaincy, Chennai reached the IPL final on seven occasions, being the runners-up five times.

After CSK was handed two-year suspension, MS Dhoni moved to Rising Pune Supergiant, where led them in the first season to disappointing 7th position and was later replaced as captain by Steve Smith in the following season.
