T10 League: Chris Gayle, Rashid Khan, Shahid Afridi picked in draft

Defending champions Kerala Kings has added more hitting power in their squad as this season the West Indies team-mates Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard will be joining forces along with England captain Eoin Morgan to successfully defend their title.

The second T10 league scheduled to take place in Sharjah between November 23 and December 2, is all set to witness a strong presence of star power with players like Rashid Khan, Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle and Andre Russell joining the eight participating teams in the second season.

36-year-old Pakistani batsman Imran Nazir, whose career had suffered majorly due to Arthritis has been picked up by the defending champions.

Popularly known as the bash brothers in the BBL, the powerful pair of Chris Lynn and Brendon McCullum will resume their partnership with the Rajputs, along with World T20-winning captain Carlos Brathwaite and star Afghanistan batsman Mohammad Shahzad by their side.

While Shane Watson, Jofra Archer and Thisara Perera are slated to play for the Karachians this season, Punjabi Legends acquired Shoaib Malik, Mitchell McClenaghan and Evin Lewis.

Sunil Narine, Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Morne Morkel are with the Bengal Tigers. Northern Warriors have the likes of Russell, Darren Sammy and Wahab Riaz. Also, Rashid has Dwayne Bravo and Lasith Malinga for company at Maratha Arabians.
