Suryakumar Yadav's Hilarious Reaction On Reporter's Mistake, Says 'Siraj Bhai Khana Kha Rahe Hain'
Suryakumar Yadav's hilarious reaction at a reporter's mistake after the IND vs AFG T20 World Cup 2024 clash featuring a reference to Mohammed Siraj has gone viral on social media.
Suryakumar Yadav, the world's number 1 T20I batter, played a match-winning innings for Team India in their T20 World Cup 2024 Super Eights encounter against Afghanistan. While India were in a spot of bother during their batting innings, the right-handed batter scored 53 off 28 balls, an innings that propelled India to a total of 181/8. Rohit Sharma & Co. were clinical in their performance with the ball and bowled out the Afghans for 134 to win the match by 47 runs.
Post the match, it was Suryakumar who had come to address a press conference. However, a reported mistakenly addressed him as Siraj to which the star batter gave a hilarious reply.
"Siraj to nahi hai yaar. Siraj bhai khana kha rahe hai (laughs) (Siraj isn't here, mate. Siraj is having his food)," Suryakumar said while breaking into a laughter.

Started Chewing My Gum Even Harder When Virat Kohli Got Out: Suryakumar
Suryakumar said that he did get a bit tensed with Virat Kohli got out. However, he had batted in that situation before and once a left-hander came in, it became easier.
"I started chewing my gum even harder when he (Kohli) got out (laughs). But I knew I have played this phase before and how to bat in this phase and the left-hander coming in it became a little easier. The most important thing was the intent needed to be good at that time and that's where I backed myself."
