Samit Dravid, former India batter and coach Rahul Dravid's son, reacted to his maiden Under-19 call-up for the upcoming series against Australia.

Samit Dravid, legendary India cricketer Rahul Dravid’s son, was named in India’s Under 19 squads for the forthcoming India vs Australia home series. Soham Patwardhan from Madhya Pradesh will captain the Indian squad for the four-day matches of the tour.

Samit's All-Round Exellence In Cooch Behar Key Factor For Under 19 Call-Up

Earlier this year, Samit had a standout performance in the Cooch Behar Trophy, significantly contributing to Karnataka's first-ever title win in the tournament. The 18-year-old scored 362 runs in eight matches. He also excelled with the ball, taking 16 wickets in eight matches, including two in the final against Mumbai.

He is currently representing Mysore Warriors in the ongoing KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy in Bengaluru. However, his performances with the bat have been underwhelming, with just 82 runs from seven innings and a highest score of 33.
