Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) IPL 2024 Trading Window Retained, Released, Full Squad, Remaining Purse: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), led by Faf du Plessis, would be determined to secure their maiden title in the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. With Virat Kohli in stellar form and recently named the 'Player of the Tournament' in the 2023 ODI World Cup, RCB enter the competition with confidence.

The team made a significant trade, acquiring Australian all-rounder Cameron Green from Mumbai Indians (MI). Green, who commanded a price of INR 17.50 crore at the previous auction, now joins RCB after an impactful IPL 2023 season, where he amassed 452 runs at an impressive average of 50.22, with a striking rate of 160.28. His noteworthy performance included a century and two fifties.

In their trading window moves, RCB bid adieu to wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik and pacers Harshal Patel and Anuj Rawat. Currently holding INR 23.25 crore in their purse, RCB gear up for the IPL 2024 auction in Dubai on December 19, following the final retention list submission deadline of November 26.

Shahbaz Ahamad was also traded to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) from RCB, while Mayank Dagar moved from SRH to RCB during the IPL trading window for the 2024 season.

RCB has retained key players such as Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Virat Kohli, and newly acquired Cameron Green. Glenn Maxwell's impressive form showcased in the recent World Cup makes him a player to watch out for, following his match-winning performances for Australia.
