While the outlook for the final two days is brighter, losing significant time during the first three days could make it challenging for either team to push for a result.

BCCI announces unchanged squad for IND vs BAN 2nd Test 

Spin bowlers are likely to play a key role in IND vs BAN Kanpur Test, and captain Rohit Sharma may consider adding an extra spinner to the lineup. While Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were the only spinners in Chennai Test, the conditions in Kanpur could lead to the inclusion of a third spinner.

Axar Patel or Kuldeep Yadav could be added to playing XI as the third spinner, potentially replacing either Mohammad Siraj or Akash Deep.
