Pakistan Fans Slam Umar Akmal For Consecutive Golden Ducks Vs Sri Lanka

Pakistani fans expressed their anger on Twitter, saying that recalling Akmal back into the T20 squad was a "horrible mistake"

Sri Lanka stunned Pakistan by 35 runs in the second T20I on Monday to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga produced a series-sealing over for Sri Lanka - in his 8th over he dismissed Sarfaraz Ahmed, Babar Azam and Umar Akmal to ensure a series defeat at home for Pakistan. Wicketkeeper-batsman Umar Akmal had a dismal comeback into the national squad after three years as he bagged two consecutive golden ducks in his two innings for Pakistan. This was his 10th duck in T20I cricket - joint most by any batsman (with TM Dilshan). According to some Pakistan media reports, Umar had urged Imran Khan to convince the national team to allow him bat at number three spot. Finally, Misbah gave his the chance to bat at number three but he got out on the first ball. Pakistani fans expressed their anger on Twitter, saying that recalling Akmal back into the T20 squad was a "horrible mistake". Here are some reactions:
