Pakistan's New Low: Shameful Record Follows ODI Series Loss To NZ

Pakistan's struggles against New Zealand have only deepened, with the Kiwis now securing 12 consecutive ODI wins over them.

Under Michael Bracewell's leadership, New Zealand continued its dominance over Pakistan, securing the three-match NZ vs PAK ODI series 2-0 after already claiming the T20 series 4-1 against Pakistan.

With victories in the first two ODIs, the Kiwis have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead, and the teams will now face off in the final ODI match on Saturday.

Pakistan's losing streak continues, sets Unwanted Record

Pakistan's struggles against New Zealand have only deepened, with the Kiwis now securing 12 consecutive ODI wins over them while playing "in New Zealand".

This victory is particularly remarkable as New Zealand achieved it without several senior players, yet they comfortably outperformed Pakistan in both the T20 and ODI series.

Shameful batting display: Pakistan all out 9 overs early

In the 3rd ODI, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first in Hamilton, but New Zealand made the most of their opportunity, posting 292/8 in 50 overs. Mitchell Hay starred with a brilliant 99-run knock, narrowly missing his maiden century.

Chasing 293, Pakistan's batting faced a major collapse as they were bowled out for 208 in 41.2 overs.

For Pak. Faheem Ashraf provided some resistance with a 73-run knock, while Naseem Shah added a quickfire 51 at the end. However, their efforts weren't enough, as New Zealand's Ben Sears wreaked havoc with a five-wicket haul, ensuring an 84-run win for the hosts.

With this win, New Zealand has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match NZ vs PAK ODI series, having already won the first ODI in Napier by 73 runs.

Despite missing several key players due to IPL commitments, the Kiwis have dominated the series, while Pakistan, playing with a full-strength squad, has struggled to compete.

The final and third ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on April 5 in Mount Maunganui. New Zealand will be eyeing a clean sweep, while Pakistan will be desperate to avoid a whitewash.
