NZ Vs BAN: How Did Batsman Edge The Ball And Get 7 Runs? Watch This Comical Video To Know
NZ Vs BAN 2nd Test: You need to watch the video to understand the comedy of errors that went into making this a funny cricketing moment.
New Zealand's opening batsman, Will Young got a genuine edge from Ebadot Hussain's bowling but was out down in the second-slip position. What followed next gave the batsman seven runs from that ball.
How did this happen? After getting the edge, the ball went past the slip fielders and was stopped at the boundary. The batsmen, meanwhile, completed three runs. As the ball was thrown at the non-striker's end, there were no takers for it and it went down the long-off boundary for a four, making it seven runs in one ball.

Chaos in the field for Bangladesh as Will Young scores a seven (yes, you read that correctly!) 😅#NZvBAN | BT Sport 3 HD pic.twitter.com/fvrD1xmNDd
The poor bowler, Ebadot Hussain had to chase down the ball to the long-off fence only to be teased by it. Will Young was eventually taken out by Shoriful Islam for 54 runs. New Zealand ended Day 1 in a strong position scoring more than 350 runs.
Tom Latham scored a big hundred and is still present at the crease with Devon Conway, who himself scored a century. The partnership between the two went past 200 runs as well.
New Zealand was defeated in the first Test match and would be looking to stage a comeback in this Test. The World Test Champions face their first home defeat in 10 years against an Asian team.
This Test match win is historic in many ways as Bangladesh registered their first-ever win against New Zealand. The first victory coming in an away fixture makes it even more special.
