Punjab now have 8 points in their kitty courtesy 4 wins and are closing in on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who sit a place above them on the fourth place. The KL Rahul-franchise which was on the brink of elimination on the back of six losses in their first seven games has shown tremendous resolve and grit to upset Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore Delhi Capitals and a string together a hat-trick of wins at the business end of the tournament. Delhi Capitals Hold Onto Pole Position Despite Their 5-Wicket Loss To Kings Eleven Punjab Delhi Capitals who suffered only their third loss of the season in 10 games, still hold onto their pole position in the points table with 14 points in the bank.
