While on one hand, the Mumbai outfit will aim to continue their winning streak after qualifying for the playoffs with an ease, David Warner's squad on the other hand will be keen to give their best to stay alive in the competition and set up a not-so-straight forward clash against Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator.
As of now, both the teams have faced each other 15 times in the IPL with Mumbai Indians dominating the fixture with their 8 victories. Speaking of this season, the two teams squared off in Sharjah where MI defeated the Hyderabad-based outfit by 34 runs.
The under-pressure fifth placed Hyderabad currently has 14 points from 13 matches so far and now requires the deciding two points for the playoffs. The side has won six matches and lost seven whereas MI has win nine times and lost 4 of their 13 matches this season. The Mumbai squad sits at the top of the points table with 18 points and has already reserved berth for the playoffs.

In terms of most number of wicket-takers from the SRH team, Rashid Khan, Natarajan and Sandeep Sharma had taken 18, 14 and 10 wickets respectively, while Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Bould and Rahul Chahar from the MI Squad have take 23, 20 and 15 wickets respectively.
