After a thumping victory over Delhi, Dhoni’s gesture for MA Chidambaram Stadium’s ground staff touched hearts of many. Dhoni and the entire CSK squad thanked the ground-staff for their service.

Chennai Super Kings snatched the top spot from the Delhi Capitals with a thumping 80-run win, on Wednesday. CSK skipper MS Dhoni's prowess in the slog overs was on display yet again as he hammered an unbeaten 44 off 22, ending the innings in style with two sixes off Trent Boult. If Chennai manage a top-two finish, they will have two shots at making the summit clash and might return to Chepauk to play the Qualifier 1, on Tuesday. Meanwhile, after a thumping victory over Delhi, Dhoni’s gesture for MA Chidambaram Stadium’s ground staff touched hearts of many as Dhoni and the entire CSK squad thanked the ground-staff for their service. "Supermen with #Thala! Without them, this yellove'ly season would not have been possible! #AnbuDen #GroundStaff #WhistlePodu #Yellove," CSK said in a tweet, along with a photograph of MS Dhoni with the Chepauk groundstaff. "Respect people who do the back work.. Thala indeed," a Twitter user replied. "That is the most sweetest gesture from #CSK always remembering the ground staff who make it all possible at #AnbuDen #Yellove," another user relied on Twitter.
