IPL 2019, DC vs SRH, Match 16: Unchanged Hyderabad opt to bowl; Delhi make 3 changes

DC would look forward to gaining their momentum at home. They have won two out of four games and hold the 5th rank. If they win today, they will dethrone SRH to grab their position

Shreyas Iyer and his boys in blue are all set to host Bhuvnes’s Orange Army at the Kila Kotla for the match number 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday. Coming to the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has won the toss and have decided to bowl first. "We are gonna bowl first. It's a dry wicket but keeping the way we've batted in the last few games, we want to chase," said Bhuvneshwar at the toss. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have made three changes for the game. They have  Ishant Sharma, Axar Patel and Rahul Tewatia in for Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan and Hanuma Vihari. "We would have bowled first as well, irrespective of what happened the other night. Looks a dry surface and it might spin more in the second half. So, banking on that," said DC skipper Shreyas Iyyer. Here're the playing XIs: Delhi Capitals: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Colin Ingram, Chris Morris, Axar Patel, Rahul Tewatia, Kagiso Rabada, Sandeep Lamichhane, Ishant Sharma Sunrisers Hyderabad: Jonny Bairstow(w), David Warner, Vijay Shankar, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Deepak Hooda, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar(c), Sandeep Sharma, Siddarth Kaul The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are high on confidence as they have their previous match against Royal Challengers Bangalore and are currently placed at the third position on the points tally. On the other hand, Delhi capitals (DC) would definitely look forward to gaining their momentum at home. They have won two out of four games and hold the 5th rank. If they win today, they will dethrone SRH to grab their position.
