India Women vs New Zealand Women: Head-To-Record And Probable Playing 11s Ahead Of T20 World Cup Clash
India Women vs New Zealand Women: Both India and New Zealand have never won the ICC Women's T20 World Cup before. They will square off in a Group A encounter of the tournament on Friday (October 4).
India Women vs New Zealand Women: India are all set to begin their ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against New Zealand in Dubai on Friday (October 4). The Women in Blue would ideally want to start off on the positive note with a win. However, they will have a stern challenge in Sophie Devine-led New Zealand in their first Group A match itself- an opponent against whom they have lost last four of their five matches.
Both India and New Zealand have never won the ICC Women's T20 World Cup before. While the White Ferns were the runners-up in the first two editions of the T20 World Cup, they have never managed to make it to the semifinals since 2016. The Women in Blue, on the other hand, were the second-best in 2020 where they lost to Australia in the final. They lost in the semifinals in the T20 World Cup held last year.
With the Indian men's team having ended their world title drought of 11 years earlier this year, can Harmanpreet & Co. do the same?
