At least two people were killed in a midair collision involving two small planes in southern Arizona, United States on Wednesday morning.

In another plane crash in Alaska, all 10 people on board a regional airline flight were killed after the plane crashed off the coast of western Alaska. The bodies were later recovered and identified hours after it went missing.

In late January, as many as 67 people onboard an American Airlines died after an Army helicopter collided with it in Washington, DC, making it the deadliest aviation disaster in the US since 2001.

Just a day after this crash, a medical transport plane carrying a child patient, her mother, and four others, crashed into a Philadelphia neighbourhood, killing seven people, including all those on board. The crash took place on January 31. The plane had exploded into a fireball and engulfed several home after the crash, injuring 19 others.
