The term "Chokhli" emerged after India's exit from 2019 World Cup, where Virat Kohli was dismissed for just one run. Virat Kohli returns to international cricket with IND vs SL ODIs

After T20 World Cup 2024, Virat Kohli will return to the field for his national team with IND vs SL three-match ODIs. He spent the past month in London with his wife Anushka Sharma and their children, Vamika and Aayan.

Kohli will be in action in the ODI series against Sri Lanka starting this Friday August 2), marking his first ODI match since the World Cup final last November.
