Mohammed Siraj Injured? India Pacer Receives Medical Attention During Practice Ahead Of IND vs SL 1st T20I
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet provided an official update on whether Siraj is actually injured or if it is just a minor niggle.
In a concerning update for fans, team India's frontline fast bowler Mohammed Siraj is reportedly facing an injury scare and may not participate in IND vs SL 1st T20I. According to RevSportz, the star pacer was seen receiving medical attention after being hit on his right leg with a ball during a practice session.
Siraj is expected to lead India's young pace bowling attack in IND vs SL T20Is and ODIs in absence of Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. However, if he is injured, it could alter the team's plans.

Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, and Khaleel Ahmed are the only three pacers selected for IND vs SL T20I series. Siraj and Arshdeep are the likely choices as the leading pacers for the first T20I.
However, if Siraj is unable to participate in the series opener or the entire T20I series due to a possible injury, Khaleel Ahmed might feature in the first T20I on July 27.
