IND vs SA, 3rd T20I: Unchanged India Opt To Bat, Hendricks Replaces Nortje In Proteas Squad

India won the toss and opted to bat first against Proteas at Bengaluru

Virat Kohli-led team India will lock horns with South Africa in the third and final T20I of the 3-match T20 series at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium  in a short while from now. With a 1-0 lead in the series, team India will look to continue their winning run and seal the series 2-0 when they take on the visitors. The Indian team management will be also looking to get answer to the big question - which bowlers to pick alongside Bumrah for World T20I at Australia, next year. Also, all eyes will be on Rishabh Pant who is yet to prove himself with the bat. Another cheap dismissal in today's game could lead to 'no more Pant at No. 4 spot' and he could be asked to swap his batting spot, possibly with Shreyas Iyer or Sanju Samson. 'Under transition' South Africa, who gave a tough fight in the second T20I, will look to level the series. In the absence of their seasoned skipper Faf Du Plessis, the Proteas are being led by Quinton De Cock. TOSS UPDATE: India won the toss and opted to bat first against Proteas at Bengaluru. Virat Kohli: Going to bat. Looks like a nice wicket. I know it's a ground where teams chase well. Even in the IPL, it's a chasing ground. Heading into the World T20 though, we need to improve areas as a team. We know we're one of the top chasing teams. Batting first is something we're also looking to strengthen. de Kock: Will be a good wicket anyway, whether we batted or bowled. Just will have to try and compete, be the best players we can be. Last match was up and down for the team. Will try and come out and learn from our mistakes. One change - Hendricks comes in for Nortje, nice to have a leftie. Teams: South Africa (Playing XI): Reeza Hendricks, Quinton de Kock(w/c), Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Dwaine Pretorius, Andile Phehlukwayo, Bjorn Fortuin, Kagiso Rabada, Beuran Hendricks, Tabraiz Shamsi India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini
