Only Sachin Tendulkar has played more matches against Australia, appearing in 110 games where he scored 6,707 runs at an average of 49.68. Kohli is set to join Tendulkar as the only players to have played 100 or more matches against Australia.

This milestone places Kohli in elite company. Behind Tendulkar, the list includes West Indies' Desmond Haynes (97 matches), Vivian Richards (88 matches) and India's MS Dhoni (91 matches).
