The World Cup 2023 practice match between Pakistan and New Zealand on September 29 will be organised behind closed doors in Hyderabad as the security agencies have suggested doing so. On Monday, the BCCI stated that the game is occurring at the same as of a local festival and the security agencies were not sure about the preparations.

"The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 warm-up match between New Zealand and Pakistan scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on 29th September will now take place behind closed doors as per the advice of the local security agencies. "Visas have been issued to Pakistan," an ICC spokesperson told PTI.
