Harbhajan Singh Trolled As Viral Video Shows Him With MS Dhoni After His ‘I Don’t Speak To Dhoni’ Remark

A recent viral video of Harbhajan Singh with MS Dhoni has sparked backlash over former’s 'I don't speak to Dhoni' claim in the past.

Former India captain MS Dhoni is one of the most renowned sportspersons in the world. Considered as one of the all-time cricket greats, Dhoni commands massive respect not only from fans worldwide but also from cricketers across generations.In a surprising revelation last year, Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh stated that he and Dhoni haven't spoken in over a decade, apart from brief on-field discussions while playing for CSK in IPL. However, a recently viral video featuring Dhoni and Harbhajan captures both former cricketers in high spirits.

The viral video shows Dhoni and Harbhajan arriving at an event to take their seats, with Dhoni even assisting Harbhajan in pulling a chair. The clip also shows Harbhajan having a slightly awkward moment.

Social media users reacted with surprise to the video, with many criticizing Harbhajan for his apparent double standards calling him out for slamming Dhoni online while appearing friendly with him in person.

'I Don't Speak To Dhoni': Harbhajan Singh

Last year, Harbhajan Singh revealed that while he has no issues with MS Dhoni, they are no longer friends. Notably, Harbhajan Singh played under MS Dhoni's captaincy between IPL seasons 2018 and 2020.

"No, I don't speak to Dhoni. When I was playing at CSK, that's when we spoke, but otherwise, we haven't spoken. It's been 10 years and more. I have no reason; perhaps he does. I don't know what the reasons are. When we were playing in the IPL at CSK, that's when we used to talk, and that, too, was restricted to the ground. After that, he did not come to my room, nor did I go to his," Harbhajan Singh had told News18.

"I don't have anything against him. If he has something to say, he can tell me. But if he did, he would have told me by now. I never tried to call him because I have a lot of passion. I only ring up those who pick up my calls. I don't have the time otherwise. I stay in touch with the ones I am friends with. A relationship is always about give and take. If I respect you, I hope you will respect me back. Or you respond to me. But if I call you once or twice but don't get a response, I will probably only meet you as much as I am needed to," the former India cricketer had added.
