Legendary Australian pacer Glenn McGrath omitted himself, as well as notable bowling legends like England's James Anderson, Pakistan's Wasim Akram, and India's Kapil Dev, instead choosing a former Australian cricketer as the 'greatest fast bowler of all time'.
As per McGrath, who concluded his illustrious career with a remarkable tally of 563 Test wickets and 381 ODI wickets for Australia, ex-Australian pacer Dennis Lillee is the greatest fast bowler of all time.
In a video shared on Cricket Australia's official Instagram handle, Glenn McGrath expressed, "Dennis Lillee was my hero and idol during my formative years. In my opinion, he remains the best fast bowler of all time."

Dennis Lillee - One of the greatest bowlers of all time
Dennis Lillee marked his Test debut for Australia on January 29, 1971, against England in Adelaide. His final appearance in a Test match for Australia was against Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground in January 1984.
During his Test career, Dennis Lillee amassed a total of 355 wickets in 70 matches, while in ODIs, he claimed 103 wickets in 63 matches.
As of today, Dennis Lillee stands as the fourth-highest wicket-taker for Australia in Tests. Shane Warne (708), Glenn McGrath (563), and Nathan Lyon (509) are the other three Aussie bowlers who have amassed more Test wickets for Australia than Lillee.
