Something took place that all through this match a person entered the field. At that time, Ben Stokes, the captain of The Hundred, was on the field. His team was bowling. However, soon after, Stokes appealed to the umpire to consider that ball as a dead ball and said that the person came on the field while throwing this ball and hence distracted the attention of the players. Later the umpire declared that ball a dead ball.

Everything was fine till now, but on the next ball, Stokes himself made a significant oversight and the team lost the match. Something happened that in the very next ball which Adil Rashid did, Hales hit an amazing six on that ball. Stokes was fielding on the side where he performed the shot and he missed a simple catch and the ball went across the boundary. After this Stokes got a lot of grit.
