3. Highest Individual Score In The Final: India created history by recording the highest-ever score in a T20 World Cup final, as the side scored 176/7 against South Africa.

4. Oldest T20 World Cup Winning Captain: Rohit Sharma became the oldest captain to win the T20 World Cup, as the Indian captain achieved the feat at the age of 37 years and 60 days.

5. Most Wickets In A Single Edition Of T20 World Cup: It was indeed a tournament for the bowlers, as Fazalhaq Farooqi ended up being the best bowler of the tournament. The Afghanistani bowler was joint-leading wicket taker with India's Arshdeep Singh, as the duo recorded 17 wickets, and go past Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga (16 wickets) record of most wickets in a single edition.

6. Best Bowling Average and Strike Rate In A Single Edition: Jasprit Bumrah recorded the best bowling average in T20 World Cup history (8.3), whereas, Chris Jordan recorded the best bowling strike rate (8.3).

7. Four Consecutive Maidens: New Zealand's Lockie Ferguson became the first player in the history to register 4 maiden overs in a T20 game, as he recorded the figure of 3/0 in his 4 overs against Papua New Guinea.
