Can India Reach WTC Final? Team India are set to take on three teams before the World Test Championship 2023-25 final.

ICC WTC Points Table: Indian national cricket team's (ICT) next international assignment is the two-match Test series against Bangladesh which promises to be a crucial series as far as qualification for the World Test Championship final 2023-25 is concerned. The summit clash is scheduled to be played on June 1.

As of now, it seems like 8 teams are in the race to qualify for the WTC final. West Indies are out of the race to play the summit clash of the 2023-25 Cycle of the WTC. As far as Team India are concerned, Rohit Sharma & Co. are one of the prime contenders to reach the final. It is pertinent to note that a team is awarded 12 points for a win, 4 points for a draw and 6 points for a tie in the ICC World Test Championship.

As of now, Team India are sitting at the top of the points table. They have so far played 9 matches, registering a win in 6 matches while succumbing to a defeat in 2 of them. India's Perctage Of Points (PCT) stands at 68.51.

Which Three Teams Will Team India Play Ahead Of WTC Final?

Barring the two Test matches against Bangladesh, Team India will be taking on New Zealand and Australia in this cycle of the World Test Championship. They will play three Test matches against the Kiwis, followed by five Tests against the Kangaroos.

India vs Australia Test Series promises to be a mouth-watering prospect with Australia at the second place on the WTC Points Table. Australia's PCT is 62.50. Before the final, Australia only have the Test series against India. New Zealand are currently sitting at the third place on the ICC WTC 2023-25 points table. The Black Caps' PCT stands at 50. Before the WTC Final, New Zealand have Sri Lanka and England to play other than India.
