Nepal Fan Jumps In Pool To Celebrate Wicket During T20 World Cup 2024 Match Vs Bangladesh, Video Goes Viral- WATCH

BAN vs NEP, T20 World Cup 2024: A Nepal fan celebrated the fall of a Bangladesh wicket in a never-seen-before way.

Bangladesh did manage to secure a place for themselves in the Super Eight stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. However, it wasn't easy for them by any stretch of the imagination. They were up against Nepal in a must-win fixture of their group-stage match who pulled off a valiant effort. In the end though, the Bangla Tigers did manage to emerge victorious and seal a place in the next round of the tournament.

It was an evenly contested match with Nepal captain Rohit Paudel winning the toss and electing to bowl first. The Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side, however, were bowled out for 106 in 19.3 overs. With the fall of every wicket, Nepal fans' excitment  started getting more and more intense and passionate. And a video has now gone viral on social media in which a Nepal fan can be seen with a never-seen before kind of wicket celebration.

The said fan jumped into pool to mark the fall of a Bangladeshi wicket. The act was caught on camera and was shared on social media by International Cricket Council's (ICC) official social media handle.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib Shines In Bangladesh's Win

Tanzim Hasan Sakib was ajdudged the Player of The Match as Bangladesh registered a win. The right-arm medium fast bowler scalped 4 wickets, conceding 7 runs off his 4 overs. Musatifizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan were equally brilliant with ball, returning with figures of 3/7 and 2/9 respectively.

For Nepal, Sompal Kami, Dipendra Singh Airee, Rohit Paudel and Sandeep Lamichhane picked two wickets apiece while Kushal Malla and Airee scored 27 off 40, 25 off 31 respectively. However, that wasn't enouh to come out on top on the day.
