Akshay Kumar's Hilarious Reaction To Reuniting With Madhoo After Two Decades: 'Lagta Hai Fridge Mein Soti Hai'
At the trailer launch event of 'Kannappa' on February 27, Akshay expressed his happiness about working with Madhoo again.
New Delhi: The forthcoming film 'Kannappa' will mark Akshay Kumar's Telugu debut, but the highlight of the trailer premiere event was undoubtedly his reunion with co-star Madhoo. The duo had worked together in 'Hum Hain Bemisaal' (1994), 'Elaan' (1994), and 'Zaalim' (1994) more than twenty years ago. They reminisced about their time working together, and the crowd was captivated by the connection between them.
During the 'Kannappa' trailer release ceremony on February 27, Akshay shared his joy at reuniting with Madhoo. "Mujhe aaj itti khushi hui hai ki main Madhoo ji se milla hu, maine ek film inke saath ki thi she played a lead role with me, a film called Elaan, I know I didn't forget the name. Zaalim bhi ki thi, so today I am very very happy, I am meeting her after 20 years or something but you haven't changed at all, you look the same,” Akshay said, his joy evident in his voice as he announced the reunion.
Complimenting about Madhoo’s beauty, Akshay joked, "And I told her also, aisa lagta bilkul change nahi hui hai, aisa lagta hai raat ko fridge mein jaak so jaati hai."

About 'Kannappa'
Inspired by the famous devotee ‘Kannappa’ in Hindu mythology, Akshay portrays the character of Lord Shiva. A number of other famous actors, like as Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal, make cameos in the film, in addition to Vishnu Manchu and Mohan Babu.
Mukesh Kumar Singh helms and Mohan Babu produces the historical play Kannappa, which is set in Telugu.
