Australia, Pakistan in Zimbabwe Tri-Series: Fixture | Squads | Timings

The first match will be played between Zimbabwe and Pakistan.

The T20I tri-series between Australia, Pakistan and Zimbabwe begins on July 01 at Harare Sports Club.

After getting whitewashed by England in the 5-match ODI series and then losing the only T20I, the Aussies are set to feature in the tournament under new skipper, Aaron Finch. Tim Paine misses out and Alex Carey has been appointed as Finch’s deputy.

On the other hand, World No. 1 in T20I, Pakistan will play the rubber without a few key players like Babar Azam and Imad Wasim. Still the Pakistani batting line-up remains decorated with the likes of Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik. In addition, speedster Mohammad Amir’s presence is expected to haunt the opponents.

Lastly, the hosts, Zimbabwe, will take the without its big guns. Star players including Graeme Cremer, Sikandar Raza, Brendan Taylor, Sean Williams and Craig Ervine have been dropped after dispute with administrators which gave Hamilton Masakadza a chance to lead the side.
