Caribbean Pacer Walks Off The Field After Dispute With Skipper During WI Vs ENG 3rd ODI | WATCH

Some interesting scenes were witnessed during WI Vs ENG 3rd ODI, as THIS star pacer walks off the field after an on-field dispute with Shai Hope. WATCH.

Star pacer Alzarri Joseph has made the headlines for wrong reasons, as the Caribbean bowler walked off the field during the third and final ODI between West Indies and England at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

The incident happend during the first innings, when the right-arm pacer picked up wickets and bowled a maiden over in the 4th over, but was visibly upset at skipper Shai Hope regarding field placement, and the dispute got so heated that it led to the 27-year-old leaving the pitch.

The pacer, however, returned afterwards with a fuming face, as England were bowled out for 263. He ended his spell with the figures of 2/45 in 10 overs with a single maiden.

The hosts have won the series 2-1, after centuries from Brandon King and Keacy Carty inflicted an 8-wicket hammering on the Liam Livingstone-led side.

"I was a bit surprised but for me you know it was just going and do the job for my team. We have the Bangladesh series coming up, I want to get selected and then give my best for my team. The wicket was slow, we tried to adapt to the conditions quickly. I tried to bowl wicket to wicket and I feel it worked out well for me tonight," said Matthew Forde, who was awarded the Player of the Series.

"I think it's a brotherhood, it's a collective group of players. The seniors always come up and give their opinions so we respect each other a lot. Obviously I know my family is here and hopefully I can repeat it back again in the future," he added.

Here's What West Indies Skipper Said During Post-Match Presentation Ceremony

Shai Hope: "The dominance and discipline were the main thing. We asked for consistency, which is what the guys delivered. I thought we were disciplined, and the main thing to be an elite team is to make sure that you do it consistently, pulling weight, ticking boxes off the field and transferring it on the field."

"Carty is a big plus for us; the work is really showing. The boys are doing a lot of work off the field, and it's a really big confidence booster for us."

"No comments (on Alzarri Joseph incident)."

"In a situation like that, you have to understand that such things happen. It shows that we always fight when we are challenged. Great to see the guys growing in confidence."

"The importance of doing things off the field translates onto the field. I'm really happy with the way our batting unit performed, and the bowlers also did really well."
