South Indian Authentic And Traditional Adai Dosa Recipe
Adai Dosa is a traditional South Indian dish made with fermented rice and lentil batter. It is crispy, flavourful, and packed with nutrients which makes it the perfect choice for a wholesome meal.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Raw Rice
- 0.5 Cup Chana Dal
- 4 Tablespoon Toor Dal
- 4 Tablespoon Urad Dal
- 4 Tablespoon Moong Dal
- 4 Piece Dried Red Chilli
- 0.5 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 0.5 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 Cup Grated Coconut
- 1 Piece Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 Tablespoon Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- 8 Piece Curry Leaves
- Water
- Oil or Ghee
Cooking Instructions
Wash rice and all the dals together in water and soak them for 3-4 hours.
After soaking, drain all the water and grind dals and rice with red chillies, fennel seeds, and cumin seeds to make a coarse batter. Make sure that the batter is thick.
Take a bowl and transfer the batter into it. Mix salt, turmeric powder, grated coconut, chopped onion, curry, and coriander leaves together.
Take a tawa and lightly grease it with oil or ghee.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in circular motion. Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook till the bottom turns golden brown. Flip and repeat the same process on the other side.
Serve the Adai Dosa hot with traditional South Indian chutneys to enhance the flavour.
