Afghanistan Cricket Team May Visit Pakistan For ODI Series, Board Initiates Steps

PAK Vs AFG: Afghanistan Cricket Board chairman will visit Pakistan. The tour will decide on playing the ODI series between the two countries.

PAK Vs AFG: The future of Pakistan cricket is in question after the Taliban's occupation of Afghanistan. New Zealand and England recently cancelled their tour to Pakistan citing security reasons. In such difficult times, Afghanistan and Pakistan can become each other's support. The Afghanistan cricket team is likely to visit Pakistan soon.

There has been a big change in the Afghanistan Cricket Board. Azizullah Fazli has been appointed the new chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board. Fazli has hinted at playing an ODI series with Pakistan. Fazli says he will visit Pakistan in the next few days in view of the ODI series.

The ODI series between Pakistan and Afghanistan was scheduled to be played earlier this month. The three-match ODI series was scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka. But due to the restrictions on air travel, this series was canceled.

The future of women's cricket is doubtful.

Fazli, however, is trying to organize the series. "I am visiting Pakistan on September 25. Our effort is to take cricket forward. I will also visit India, Bangladesh, and UAE.''

Let us tell you that the future of Afghanistan cricket is not clear after the Taliban took over Afghanistan. Taliban policies are anti-women. It is not yet clear whether women's cricket will continue in Afghanistan. If women's cricket is banned in Afghanistan, the men's team will also have to give up their Test membership.
