Speaking to IANS, a BCCI official said that it was Secretary Jay Shah who got everyone together and had a word with the other office bearers as well as the state associations to decide on the way forward to help the country in the fight against the pandemic. However, it was also noted that the BCCI was already under considerable condemnation for not doing its bit to fight the outbreak of Coronavirus. But soon after the cricketing body announced about the donation, things turned bitter.
