India hopes for the best from Lawn Bowls women's team with Lawn Bowls Women Fours gold medal match against South Africa on the cards while the In-form Indian women's hockey team gears up for a litmus test against England.

On Monday when the Judokas won medals, they were the only athletes to secure top wins besides lifters, who won the remaining medals of the 9 medals -- 3 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze -- won so far in the quadrennial event. On Monday, it was judokas' show as Shushila Devi Likabam bagged a silver and Vijay Yadav settled for bronze in women's 48 kg category and men's 60kg category, respectively.

Sushila Devi became the first Judoka to bag multiple medals in CWG as she last won a silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Indian athletics contingent will kick off their campaign on Tuesday and there is a lot to look forward to as Muhammed Anees and Murali Sreekumar will be seen in action. The long jumpers, who have good experience on the international circuit, will take part in the qualifying round.

In the men's 200m backstroke, Srihari Nataraj will look to continue the winning momentum as he on Monday created history by qualifying for the men's 50m backstroke final. What is to be noted is, that Srihari has produced the best ever finish for an Indian swimmer.
