There has been some uncertainty about the date for Saraswati Puja in 2025. Should it be observed on February 2 or February 3? As per the Hindu calendar, Basant Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of the bright half (Shukla Paksha) of the Magha month.

According To The Panchang (Hindu almanac):

The Panchami Tithi begins on February 2, 2025, at 9:14 AM and ends on February 3, 2025, at 6:52 AM.
Thus, Saraswati Puja in 2025 will be celebrated on February 2, 2025.
The auspicious time (Shubh Muhurat) for performing the rituals is from 7:09 AM to 12:35 PM, lasting 5 hours and 26 minutes.

Saraswati Puja 2025 Rituals

  • Preparations for the Puja:
    Install Goddess Saraswati's idol on a clean yellow cloth.
    Adorn the idol with a yellow mark (tilak) and offer yellow flowers.
  • Offerings to the Goddess:
