IN PICS | Realme 12 Pro+ First Impressions

The Realme 12 Pro+ gets a striking new colour variant and draws power from a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Heres my quick first impressions in 7 points.

The Realme 12 Pro+ features the goodness of Android 14 and produces good images, which make it a competent option in its segment.

The Realme 12 Pro Plus looks quite similar to predecessor Realme 11 Pro series. There's the same curved panel and vegan leather texture at the back, but the Submarine Blue colour is eye-catching.

The curved screen is the same as we saw on its predecessor. The display is bright and vivid and apt for binge-watching OTT shows on Netflix, Hotstar and others. The panel produces somewhat cooler tones, though.

The primary camera setup includes an impressive 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, a 64MP periscope telephoto and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor.

The primary shooter is the best and clicks great pictures in all lighting conditions.

The premium vegan leather design looks all the more striking, thanks to the luxury watch-inspired camera module.

The Realme 12 Pro+ has a big and bright 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 950 nits.

The smartphone packs a hefty 5,000mAh battery with support for ultra-fast 67W proprietary charging which lasted almost a day on a single charge.
