Dhoni, reportedly, suffered a minor injury ahead of CSK vs GT IPL match, although, CSK CEO believes the injury won't rule him out of IPL 2023 tournament opener.

MS Dhoni, who has participated in every season of IPL since its inception in 2008, is nearing a huge milestone.

If MS Dhoni (4978 runs in IPL at present) scores 22 more runs, he will cross the 5000-run mark in IPL history.

RCB legend Virat Kohli (6624 runs in 223 IPL matches) is currently the highest run-getter in IPL history, followed by Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, and AB de Villiers.

It is being speculated that IPL 2023 is going to be MS Dhoni's last IPL season as a player.
