US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during the intergovernmental summit. At one point during the conference, Blinken raised the topic of energy and food security in light of Russia's continuous "aggression" against Ukraine. He made it clear to the ministers that Russia's war with Ukraine would not be tolerated.

The external affairs minister said the G20 countries "individually and collectively" have a commitment to contribute to international growth and prosperity. "Today's circumstances demands that we continue to live up to our international commitments.
