MCD Polls: Tight Security Arrangements Put In Place At EVM Strongrooms, Counting Centres

With votes to be counted for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls on Wednesday, tight security arrangements have been made at all the counting centres across the national capital.

Besides the counting centres, heavy police presence will also be ensured outside the offices of political parties. Adequate security personnel will also be deployed to prevent clashes between activists of different parties. (Source: PTI)

Tight security arrangements have been made at all the counting centres -- Shastri Park, Yamuna Vihar, Mayur Vihar, Nand Nagari, Dwarka, Okhla, Mangolpuri, Pitampura, Alipur and Model Town. (Source: PTI)

This was the first civic election after the fresh delimitation exercise. Authorities had set up 13,638 polling stations across Delhi for the exercise. Sixty-eight model polling stations and as many pink polling stations were established for quality experience of voters. (Source: PTI)
