Kabul: Live TV Captures Moments When Rockets Land Near Prez Palace During Eid Prayers (Watch)

President Ashraf Ghani and others in the vicinity had to stop the prayers after multiple loud explosions shook the area.

New Delhi: During a live broadcast of prayers for the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha this morning, sound of rockets landing near the Afghan presidential palace in Kabul were captured.

According to Reuters, no reports of injuries or deaths were reported immediately. President Ashraf Ghani and others in the vicinity had to stop the prayers after multiple loud explosions shook the area, TV reports were quoted. 

The rockets landed when they just started the Eid prayers, reported TOLO News report.

Certain media reports said the rockets were fired from Parwan-e-Se area in Kabul's District 18.

The rockets were dropped in Bagh-e-Ali Mardan and Chaman-e-Hozori areas in Kabul's District 1 and Manabe Bashari area in Kabul's District 2, all close to the Presidential Palace.
