'Deeply Concerned': PM Modi Wishes Speedy Recovery To Saudi King Salman Amid Reports Of Lung Infection
King Salman bin Abdulaziz was found to have a lung infection and he is currently receiving antibiotic treatment in Jeddah, several reports said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said he is deeply concerned about the reports of the health of Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who is reportedly diagnosed with lung infection.
PM Modi said he joins the people in wishing the Saudi King a speedy and full recovery.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz was found to have a lung infection and he is currently receiving antibiotic treatment in Jeddah, several reports said on Wednesday.
King Salman underwent medical examinations at the Royal Clinics at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah, the Red Sea port city.
Earlier on Sunday, the Saudi media said that the Saudi King was being examined by a medical team over joint pain and "high temperature".
The Royal Court of Saudi Arabia had said that the King will undergo medical examinations at the Royal Clinics of the Al-Salam Palace in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah.
“The medical check-up, prompted by symptoms of a high fever and joint pain, will be conducted by his medical team to diagnose his condition and monitor his health,” the Royal Court statement read.
In April, he was admitted and then released from the hospital after having a routine checkup.
In 2020, King Salman had underwent surgery to remove his gallbladder and in 2022, he was hospitalized to change the battery of his pacemaker.
Before becoming Saudi Arabia's monarch, King Salman served as the governor of the central Riyadh region and Defense Minister.
The 88-year-old King, who is the custodian of Islam's holiest sites, became ruler of the world's top oil exporter in 2015 after spending more than 2.5 years as the crown prince and deputy premier.
His son, Mohammed bin Salman, was named crown prince in 2017 and is generally seen as the country's de facto ruler.
