Mexican Authorities Find 4 Human Skulls In Package Bound To US: Report

As per the report, the package was found inside a cardboard box at an airport in Central Mexico.

Four human skulls wrapped in aluminum foil were discovered inside a package at a Mexican airport, reported Reuters citing local authorities. 

As per the report, the package was due to be sent by courier to the United States. The package was found inside a cardboard box at Queretaro Intercontinental Airport in central Mexico, a statement from the National Guard said. 

The statement said that the package was sent from the western coastal state of Michoacan, one of the most violent parts of the country, and was supposed to be delivered to an address in Manning, South Carolina, the report added. 

The National Guard said that the transfer of human remains requires a special permit from a competent health authority which was not obtained. However, no information regarding the age, identity, or possible motive for sending human remains.
