Indian Embassy Asks Citizens To Leave Ukraine 'Immediately' As War Intensifies
The new advisory comes less than a week after a similar one was issued in response to Ukraine's deteriorating security situation.
The Indian embassy in Ukraine issued a new advisory on Tuesday, advising all Indians in the country to leave the country immediately due to rising hostilities.
The Indian embassy in Ukraine's official Twitter handle tweeted the advisory, tagging all relevant Twitter handles.

The new advisory comes less than a week after a similar one was issued in response to Ukraine's deteriorating security situation.

"In continuation of the advisory issued by the embassy on October 19, all Indian citizens in Ukraine are advised to immediately leave Ukraine by available means," the statement read.
According to the report, some Indian nationals have already left Ukraine in response to the earlier warning.
The embassy has asked Indian nationals to contact it if they need help getting to the Ukrainian border to leave the country.

Ukraine had restrictions on electricity supplies across the country, as reported by the news agency Reuters. This decision comes after Russia’s massive missile attack knocked out more power-generating plants, a senior aide to President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on October 19 on Wednesday, as reported by the agency.
Last week, Zelensky said that 30% of Ukrainian power stations had been hit by Russian air strikes.
Russia and Ukraine's hostilities have escalated, with Moscow launching retaliatory missile strikes against various Ukrainian cities in response to a massive blast in Crimea three weeks ago.
Moscow blamed Kyiv for the blast.
India has been advocating for a diplomatic and dialogue-based solution to the conflict.
