Israel Denies Hand In Gaza Hospital Attack Killing 500, Triggers Massive Outcry

Israel has denied involvement in the Gaza hospital attack which as killed at least 500 people.

Israel has denied any role in the massive explosion at a hospital in Gaza which led to the death of at least 500 Palestinians. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted asserting that the Israeli forces were not involved, adding that the deadly attack was caused by a failed rocket launch by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad military group.

Netanyahu tweeted, "The whole world should know - it was the brutal terrorists in Gaza who struck the hospital in Gaza, not the IDF. Whoever brutally kills our children kills his own children as well."

However, Palestinian Ambassador to the UN, Riyad Mansour was not ready to believe Israel and called the Prime Minister a liar. He said, "He is a liar. His digital spokesperson tweeted that Israel did the hit thinking that there was a base for Hamas around this hospital, and then he deleted that tweet. We have a copy of that tweet... Now they changed the story to try to blame the Palestinians. The Israeli spokesperson of the Army made a statement in which he said evacuate the hospitals...Their intention is to evacuate or hospitals will be hit and they are responsible for that crime and they cannot fabricate stories to deal with it."

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) that the explosion was the fallout of a “failed rocket launch” by Islamic Jihad terrorist organisation.

“The trajectory analysis from the barrage of rockets confirms that the rockets were fired from close proximity to the hospital. In addition there are two independent videos which show the failure of the rocket launched and continuation of rocket flight towards the ground in the Gaza Strip falling in the hospital compound,” an IDF official said.

The Israeli forces also shared satellite footage of the hospital before and after the attack to back its claim.
