EMMY'S 2016: Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington got ROBBED at the ceremony!

New Delhi: Amanda Abbington of 'Sherlock' fame has claimed her purse was stolen from under her seat. She went on the stage to collect her award and upon returning, found her purse to be missing. Abbington lost her cell phone as well as driving license along with the purse. The actress tweeted:

However, we went up to collect the Emmy, did some press, came back to my seat and some bastard had nicked my purse from under my seat. Nice

Abbington plays the role of Mary Morstan, wife of Dr. John Watson which is played by her real life husband Martin Freeman. 'Sherlock: The Abominable Bride' won the Emmy for Outstanding Television Movie category.  Let's hope the 'mystery of the stolen purse' is solved with as much precision as on the show.
