New Delhi: A viral message claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s salary is more than Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s salary. What is the truth of the message?

The message claims that President Pranab Mukherjee’s salary is Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand.
The message says PM Modi’s salary is Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand but Kejriwal gets Rs 3 lakh 60 thousand.
Here is the reality:
President gets Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand as salary per month. Government releases Rs 22 crore per year for the upkeep of Rashtrapati Bhavan and other expenditures.
Here are the details of PM Modi’s salary.
He gets Rs 50,000 as basic pay

Kejriwal, however, brought a bill last year that was sent to Centre for approval. L-G Najeeb Jung, however, returned the bill. The government has resent the bill for approval.
If the bill gets, approval, he would start getting Rs 2 lakh 20 thousand per month. With other allowance, Kejriwal would get a hefty sum of Rs 3 lakh 50 thousand. However, presently he is not drawing this much salary.
