Mahant Nritya Gopaldas Tests Covid-19 Positive, UP CM Requests Medanta Founder To Provide Immediate Medical Attention
Upon receiving information Mahantaji's health conditions, the CM has spoken to DM Mathura and to Dr Trehan of Medanta and requested for immediate medical attention for him at the hospital.
Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath on Thursday took an update on the health status of Mahant Nritya Gopaldas, president of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust and Shrikrishna Janmabhoomi Trust, who has been detected with coronavirus on Thursday.

Upon receiving information on Mahantaji's health conditions, the UP CM has spoken to DM Mathura and to Dr Trehan of Medanta and requested for immediate medical attention for him at the hospital, according to the news agency ANI. With the news of the Mahant contracting coronavirus, the disciples started gathering at Hanuman Temple on Railway Road after which the gate of the temple was locked.

Mahant Nritya Gopaldas, President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust during his address at the Ram Janmabhoom stone laying ceremony said, “People used to ask us when the temple will be built? We had said that on one side there is Modi and on the other side there is a Yogi, if it will not be done now, when will it be made. Now people should get involved in the construction of a grand Ram temple with body, mind, and wealth and work should go ahead.
Meanwhile, on the eve of Janmashtami, Vrindavan’s famous ISKCON Temple has been sealed after 22 people from the temple tested COVID-19 positive. The priests of the temple also tested coronavirus positive ahead of Janmashtami.
