Tamil Nadu: Wild Elephant Mysteriously Dies After Killing 11 People In Theni
A wild elephant that killed 11 people In the Theni region of Tamil Nadu, mysteriously died today. The forest dept and police are investigating the cause of death of the Jumbo.
Bodi: A wild elephant found dead in Thevaram area of Theni today in a mysterious state. Forest Dept and police are investigating the cause of death of the tusker. The lone pachyderm had been living and strolling in the region for over 13 years and it was called Magna Yanai by locals.

However, it was a sigh of relief for the residents of Bodi as the sly animal had killed eleven people trampling on them. Even, the locals called it a disaster as giant animals were damaged. According to the villagers, eleven people from Thevaram and surrounding villages have been killed by its attack.
Troublemaker
For the past two years, a single wild elephant has been roaming the foothills of Thevaram near Bodi in the Theni district. The residents complained that the wild elephant would come and damage the crops, fields, huts, and houses adjacent to the forest areas between Thevaram and Bodi. At the same time, the giant animals attacked humans as well.
Uncatchable
Following this, people of the area have been complaining to the forest department for months to capture the mammoth. But, despite several attempts, the forest department failed to catch it.
Mysterious death
The forest department was informed that the wild elephant was found dead on a farm near Thevaram this morning. Following this information, the forest department reached the spot where Jambo died. The forest dept and police are investigating the mysterious death of the elephant.
Meanwhile, the forest officials revealed that there was no sign of the elephant being attacked or on its body.
