Suzuki Launches Intruder SP And Intruder FI SP

Suzuki has launched a new variant for their Intruder and Intruder Fi 150cc cruisers. The Intruder SP and Intruder FI SP get a matte black paint scheme with a dark gloss red paint for the centre accent. While the bodywork remains unchanged, it now gets a pillion backrest mounted on the rear grabrail. 
 
The carburetted Intruder SP costs Rs 1,00,500, a premium of Rs 505 over the standard Intruder 150 (Rs 99,995). The Intruder FI SP retails for Rs 1,07,300, a premium of Rs 404 over the fuel-injected Intruder FI (Rs 1,06,896, all prices ex-Delhi).

The Intruder 150 is powered by an air-cooled 155cc single cylinder motor that is available in carburetted and fuel injected trims. Both versions make 14.8PS at 8000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6000rpm and come mated to a five speed gearbox. 
 
Suspension setup includes telescopic forks upfront and a preload adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is via front and rear disc brakes with a single channel ABS as standard fitment.

Suzuki Motorcycle India introduces ‘Special Edition’ INTRUDER/FI ahead of the festive season
 
New Delhi, September 28, 2018: Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), a subsidiary of one of the world's leading two-wheeler manufacturers - Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan (SMC) has rolled out the ‘Special Edition’ of India’s Modern Cruiser – INTRUDER and INTRUDER FI ahead of the festive season. 
 
The INTRUDER SP and INTRUDER FI SP editions are offered in Matte Black colour along with Candy Sanoma Red accent enhancing the sportiness of this modern day cruiser with a standard pillion backrest fitment. The SP variants will come equipped with Anti- Lock Brake System (ABS) and the Fuel Injection will offer a better riding experience.
 
Commenting on the launch of the special variant, Mr. Satoshi Uchida – Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Since, its launch in November 2017, the bike has received an overwhelming response with its premium appeal. The INTRUDER, true to its modern badge, compliments with futuristic features like a standard ABS, a fully-digital instrumentation, SEP engine with superior riding performance. In the looks department, it carries forward the lineage of the legendary INTRUDER with flowing character lines, big-bike like shrouds, and a sharp twin exhaust that stands-out. It is low and long styling, with a long wheelbase, and a low seat makes both your daily commute and the weekend ride exciting with an attitude. The special edition adds further to the style quotient of the bike.
 
The new INTRUDER SP edition is available in Metallic Matte Black /Candy Sanoma Red priced at INR 100,500(ex-showroom, New Delhi); while INTRUDER Fi SP is priced at INR 107,300 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
