Shocking! Nagpur Man Kidnaps 'Girlfriend', Posts Video On Social Media; Arrested 

19-year-old Salim Khan allegedly kidnapped his 17-year-old girlfriend, filmed the whole act and later posted it on the social media.

Nagpur: A highly shocking video is making rounds on social media showing a man allegedly kidnapping his lover and accusing her of cheating with another boy. 

According to media reports, the accused identified as 19-year-old Sameer Khan alias Salim Khan allegedly kidnapped his 17-year-old girlfriend, filmed the whole act and later posted it on the social media. 

News agency PTI reported that the duo had come in contact hrough a common friend two years ago and entered into a relationship. The couple used to regularly upload videos on TikTok and even had physical relations after he promised to marry her. 

However, on suspecting his lover of having an affair with another man, Khan forced the girl to sit on his motorcycle in Kamal Chowk area and abducted her. He allegedly abused and thrashed her and posted the video on his Instagram account. 

Soon locals alerted the city police about the incident on Twitter, and urged the officials to take strict action against the youth. 

The National Commission for Women also took cognizance of the matter. NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma asked DGP Maharashtra to look into the matter and take appropriate action against the accused including framing relevant charges. The action taken must be communicated to the Commission at the earliest."

The Nagpur crime branch officials have arrested Salim and his friend Shakin Mohd Siddiqui, and have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.
