PM Modi Offers Prayers At Karni Mata Temple In Rajasthan, To Visit Nal Airbase Next

This marks the Prime Minister's first visit to Rajasthan following India's strike on terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on May 7

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Karni Mata Temple in Deshnoke on Thursday, where he offered prayers and paid his respects at the revered shrine. The temple, known for its spiritual significance and unique devotion to Karni Mata, holds deep cultural importance in the region.

This marks the Prime Minister's first visit to Rajasthan following India's strike on terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on May 7.

During the visit, he is set to inaugurate 103 Amrit Stations across the country, including the newly redeveloped Deshnok Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Yojana. He will also address a large public gathering in Palana village, near Bikaner.

PM Modi's visit to Bikaner is scheduled to last 3 hours and 25 minutes. The occasion draws parallels to his address in Churu following the Pulwama airstrikes, highlighting the symbolic weight of this appearance.

PM Narendra Modi was accompanied by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma during his visit. He is also scheduled to travel by road to Palana village, located approximately 8 kilometers from Deshnok. A massive crowd of over one lakh people is expected to attend the public meeting, with extensive seating arrangements and a large pandal already in place.

In a notable display of cultural pride, around 6,000 attendees will wear saffron turbans, prepared by teams working tirelessly ahead of the event.

During the gathering, PM Modi will inaugurate 103 Amrit Stations across India and lay the foundation stone for multiple development initiatives totaling Rs 26,000 crore. These include 1,000 kilometers of electrified railway tracks, seven major road projects, three vehicle underpasses, a PowerGrid transmission project, and 900 kilometers of national highways in Rajasthan.

Following the event, the Prime Minister is expected to return to Nal Airport by helicopter around 12:30 p.m. and depart for Delhi at approximately 1:15 p.m.
